Aim:

To organise and coordinate day-to-day administrative activities in the institute hospital to impart and deliver effective healthcare services.
To implement technology-driven health systems to streamline institutional processes.
To train and build the capacity of the healthcare workforce for effective delivery of healthcare services.
To ensure legal compliance and promote ethical practices within the institution.
To coordinate and facilitate quality assurance programmes in tertiary care hospitals and act as a nodal centre for such activities for other hospitals in the state.
To conduct operational research in various areas of health and healthcare administration for effective management decision-making.
To advocate and provide guidance regarding current trends in hospital planning and management.

In addition, the faculty of the department is actively engaged in various academic, research, community engagement, and administrative responsibilities entrusted by the institute authorities.

In-patients Department

The department contributes to the coordination, administration, and management of inpatient healthcare services to ensure effective delivery of patient care and institutional support services.

Outpatients Department

The department supports outpatient healthcare administration, patient service management, and coordination of hospital processes for smooth and efficient OPD functioning.
