Services

1. Outpatient Department (OPD) Services
The Department of Ophthalmology is presently providing OPD services, where almost 100 patients are seen daily.

Services Offered:

  • Comprehensive eye examination and consultation.
  • Screening and management of common and complex ophthalmic conditions.
  • Follow-up care for postoperative and chronic eye disease patients.

Specialty Services:

  • Oculoplasty

Day-Care / Ambulatory Services:

  • Fundus Fluorescein Angiography (FFA)
  • Laser Treatments (Peripheral Iridotomy, YAG Capsulotomy)

2. Inpatient Department (IPD) Services
The IPD provides facilities for preoperative and postoperative care of patients requiring surgical intervention like phacoemulsification, glaucoma surgeries, squint and oculoplasty surgeries, or extended observation.

Services Include:

  • Admission for elective and emergency eye surgeries.
  • Postoperative monitoring and management.
  • Comprehensive inpatient evaluation for complex ophthalmic conditions.
  • Care for patients undergoing major ocular reconstructive or corrective surgeries.

  • Minor Surgical Interventions (Chalazion incision & curettage, foreign body removal, tarsorrhaphy, eyelid repairs, syringing & probing, corneal scraping, corneal suture removal)
