"The Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of AIIMS, Bilaspur on October 03, 2017. Subsequently on January 21, 2019,   Hon’ble Union Health Minister Shri J P Nadda and Hon’ble Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Shri Jai Ram Thakur performed the Bhoomi Pujan.

    History

    The OPD services at AIIMS Bilaspur were inaugurated on 5th Dec 2021 by the Hon’ble Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Dr Mansukh L Mandaviya. OPD, day care and Minor OT services in 19 specialties and super-speciality were started at the Ayush Block.

    The OPD services shifted to its permanent location (Hospital Block B) on 9th August 2022.

    History

    Limited IPD services started in Hospital Block A from 15th September 2022. Diagnostic services have become functional in the Diagnostic Block (Hospital Laboratory Block C) with the installation of CT, MRI, digital radiography equipment, Laboratory Block laboratory services and Blood Bank facility.
